Bespoke

From first sketch to final reveal.

Bespoke jewelry isn't a service we offer, it's the way we work. Every piece begins with a conversation and ends in your hands.

The Process

From Sketch to Setting

Every KHOJA piece moves through five sets of hands. Here's what happens between your first conversation and the final reveal.

Design Sketch
01
Calgary 路 Noor-e-din

Design Sketch

Every commission begins on paper. Hand-drawn concepts capture proportion, profile and personality before a single line of CAD is touched. You review the sketches and we refine until the silhouette feels exactly right.

CAD / CAM Approval
02
Digital Atelier

CAD / CAM Approval

Approved sketches are translated into a precise 3D model. You see your piece from every angle - millimetre-accurate, photorealistic - and sign off before any metal is cut. Revisions are part of the process, never an extra.

Wax & Casting
03
In-House 路 Calgary or Johannesburg

Wax & Casting

The CAD file becomes a high-resolution wax model, then a freshly cast mount in 18K Gold, PT 950 PLATINUM or 925 STERLING SILVER. Lost-wax casting - the same method used for centuries - done in our own ateliers.

Semi-Finished Mount
04
The Goldsmith's Bench

Semi-Finished Mount

Bare metal, before stones. Prongs are filed by hand, surfaces are pre-polished, every angle is checked under magnification. This is where machine precision gives way to the patience of a master goldsmith.

Setting & Polishing
05
Master Setter 路 Final Pass

Setting & Polishing

Stones are hand-set under microscope - secure, level, perfectly aligned. A final mirror polish brings the metal to life. The piece is then quality-checked, photographed, and prepared for its reveal.
